Registration Rules and Regulations
Welcome to the 2nd Annual Caribbean Baking Awards! We are excited to have you participate in this prestigious event. To ensure a smooth and fair process, please read and adhere to the following registration rules and regulations:
Eligibility
1. Participant Age: All participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
2. Residency: Participants must be legal residents of a Caribbean country.
3. Amateur and Professional Bakers: Both amateur and professional bakers are welcome to participate.
Registration Process
1. Online Registration: All participants must register online through the official Caribbean Baking Awards website.
2. Deadline: Registration opens on JUNE 20th 2024 and closes on AUGUST 5th 2024. Late entries will NOT be accepted.
3. Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of $130.00USD must be paid at the time of registration. Registration Fee includes your CBA branded chef coat for the competition. (PLEASE NOTE EVERYONE ON YOUR TEAM PARTICIPATING MUST PAY FEE)
4. Required Information: Participants must provide accurate personal information, including full name, contact details, and baking category (Cake, Fruit Craving or Cupcakes).

4. Technical Execution (20%): How well is the cake constructed?
Are the techniques used executed cleanly and professionally?
5. Presentation and Aesthetics (15%): How visually appealing is the cake?

Event Rules
1. Submission Format: All entries must be submitted in the specified format
* Labeling: Each submission should include the participant's name, participant's country, category, and the title of the entry on a card and place infront of their work.
*Delivery of Baked Goods: Participants will receive instructions on the date and location for baking their baked goods for judging.
2. Disqualification: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not adhere to the rules.
3.Final Decision: The judges’ decisions are final and binding.

1. Privacy: Participants' personal information will be kept confidential and used only for the purposes of the Caribbean Baking Awards.
2. Publicity: By participating, participants agree to the use of their names, and images for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
